998 - PUBLIC TRANSPORT LINKS TO BLUEGUM HILLS AND FLETCHER'S SANCTUARY

That this House:

  1. Notes that UrbanGrowth have built substantial developments in Wallsend's Blue Gum Hills, including Fletcher's Sanctuary.
  2. Notes that during construction, government representatives were repeatedly asked about public transport links to the site and despite assurances that it was a priority, there still remains no public transport to Fletcher's Sanctuary.
  3. Calls on the Minister for Planning and the Minister for Transport to ensure that a direct service will be completed from Minmi to Newcastle, including stops up at Fletcher's Sanctuary.
