Until 29 October, immerse yourself in an imagined, post-pandemic future with this virtual exhibition at www.museumoffutures.com/nswparliament.
In 2021 it's clear we're living in post normal times. A summer of catastrophic bushfires in 2020, followed by a global pandemic, has shown us the importance of thinking about the future – and that's what this Museum of Futures exhibition, entitled 'Pandemic Pivots', is all about.
Pandemic Pivots sees 10 diverse online communities explore how they hoped life in Sydney would pivot beyond the COVID-19 pandemic. Their ideas were given to 10 Australian artists to interpret into the works you're about to explore. Each artwork is accompanied by an invented 'history' explaining what happened to make this imagined future occur.
