Commemorating the 60th Anniversary of the 1956 Hungarian Revolution
The Australian Hungarian Artists' Circle presents 'Hungary 1956', a commemorative art exhibition for the 60th Anniversary of the 1956 Hungarian Revolution, a significant event affecting the members of the New South Wales Hungarian community. This exhibition recognises the struggles of the Hungarian community during the revolution and the role that New South Wales played in providing a safe home for many of the displaced Hungarian refugees.
The exhibition will be displayed in the Parliament House Fountain Court from 22 August to 30 September 2016, Monday to Friday, 9.00 am to 5.00 pm.
