- While there has been some debate over the exact worth of tourism to
Australia, the industry still makes a valuable contribution to the nation
(pp.1-4)
- New South Wales leads the nation in tourism activity – which is an
important industry for the state (pp.7-9)
- A considerable amount of assistance is provided to the industry at both
federal and state levels (pp.18-19)
- The largest proportion of tourism activity is generated by small business
