Qualifications, occupations and interests
Schoolteacher and farmers wife. Educated privately and at the Sydney Teachers' College. She then became a teacher with the New South Wales Education Department teaching at Condobolin North 1922 - 1923, Tichborne 1923 - 1924; and Forbes 1924 - 1925. Director of Condobolin Hospital Board from 1953; councillor of New South Wales Parents and Citizens' Federation 1950 - 1953, vice president 1953 - 1960; active in Far West Children's Health Scheme. Recreational interests include reading, music and charity work.
