Clerk. Educated O'Connell public school; on land until until 1899; miner at Burraga and later at Portland; secretary of Portland Miners' union; moved to Sydney; clerk with J.B Moffat, solicitor, later became managing clerk with W.D Mahon; at death was a munitions inspector.
