Tramway employee; Educated at Waverley; joined Tramways Department as a conductor in 1909, was dismissed in 1917 strike, re-employed as a conductor, electric driver from 1925 - 1927; resigned. Executive member of Tramways Employees' Union; trustee of National Park in 1931; director of Sydenham Bankstown District Co-operative Building Society.
