Lawyer (Solicitor). Educated at Maitland Grammar School and Maitland High School. Articled to Joseph Chambers 1861, then to W.H Mullen of West Maitland. Admitted as a solicitor 1868. Joined the firm of McIntosh, Pinnock and Price, Maitland 1868 ; Mullen & Gorrick, Maitland 1869; set up his own practice at West Maitland in 1871 and at Newcastle in 1882. Freemason.
