Teacher at Bourke High School 1970 - 1971 and Central School 1958 - 1959 and 1961. Active in far western branches of the Australian Labor Party as well as in its' Rural and Primary Industry Policy Committee. Recreational interests included reading, gardening, fine arts, music (baroque jazz 1908-1930s) and chess.
