(1) For each of the following flooding events, how many gigalitres of water spilled over the Warragamba Dam wall?

(a) March 2021?

(b) March 2022?

(c) July 2022?

Answer -
WARRAGAMBA DAM SPILLAGE

(1) Warragamba Dam recorded the following cumulative outflows for these events:

(a) March 2021 – approx. 1,200 gigalitres.

(b) March 2022 – approx. 1,480 gigalitres.

(c) July 2022 – approx. 1,140 gigalitres (noting this is based on discharge to 25 July, as the event is ongoing with dam yet to return to full supply level).
