(1) Does the Government monitor vacancy rates in Community Housing Providers?

(2) How many properties in Southern Cross Community Housing have been vacant in the Shoalhaven?

(a) Why are these properties vacant?

(3) How much does the Government pay Southern Cross Community Housing each year?

Answer -

I am advised:

(1-2) Community housing providers report on vacancies as part of their regulatory reporting which is administered by the Registrar of Community Housing. These questions should be referred to the Minister for Families, Communities and Disability Services.

(3) Land and Housing Corporation (LAHC) provides no recurrent funding to Southern Cross Community Housing to manage LAHC-owned properties.
