Jackson, Rose to the Minister for Mental Health, Regional Youth and Women representing the Minister for Transport and Roads

(1) What is the total number of schools in New South Wales that currently have a second set of school zone flashing lights?

(2) How many schools across New South Wales currently do not have a second set of school zone flashing lights?

Answer -

I am advised:

The Government has ensured that every school in NSW has at least one set of school zone flashing lights, and continues to install flashing lights where new schools are constructed at locations without an existing set.

In total, there are now more than 6,000 school zone flashing lights signs in place across NSW to warn motorists when they enter a 40km/h school zone.
