For each school in New South Wales:

(1) What is the student capacity of permanent classrooms on the school campus (excluding demountables, outdoor, and shared learning spaces)?

(2) How many students are currently enrolled?

(3) What is the projected student growth to 2025?

 

Answer -

(1) Student to teacher ratios determine classroom capacity.

(2) Student enrolment numbers can be found on the Departments website at https://data.cese.nsw.gov.au/data/dataset/nsw-public-school-february-census-full-timeequivalent-fte-enrolments.

(3) The Department of Education's projections inform capital investments into new school facilities and infrastructure on a continual basis and this information is regarded as Cabinet in Confidence.
