I am advised that: (1) – (3) Estimates of feral goat numbers in New South Wales are based on aerial surveys undertaken by the Department of Planning, Industry and Environment in conjunction with the commercial Kangaroo Management Program, which is generally west of the Great Dividing Range. This region correlates with the greatest concentration of feral goats in New South Wales.
