I am advised to refer the member to:
- Commonwealth Privacy Act 1988 that governs the disclosure of personal
information by organisations in the private sector (including unlisted
telephone numbers)
- The Privacy and Personal Information Act 1998 (NSW) (the PPIP Act) which
covers NSW public sector agencies.
