  1. What number of allocated staff at Waratah Police Station are available to attend to incoming calls to the station on an average day?
  2. How many times in 2017 has there not been sufficient staff to answer calls to Waratah Police Station phones?

  3. Is this due to a shortage of allocated staff?

    1. If so, when will more staff be allocated to Waratah Police Station?

    2. If not, what is the Government doing to ensure calls to Waratah Police Station don't go unanswered?

Answer -

Staffing arrangements within a Local Area Command (LAC) vary according to operational requirements. Waratah police station is open 24 hours a day. LACs provide a 24 hour mobile policing response to all areas within the boundary of each Command.
