  1. What is the Minister doing to address the concerns of police officers with proposed reforms of the police compensation?
  2. Will changes to the death and disability scheme slash compensation leading to premature return to work and⁄ or financial hardship?
Answer -
  1. and (2) The Government has recently announced almost $100 million in enhancements to the package of proposed reforms to the Police Force's death and disability scheme.  The proposed reforms are intended to encourage officers to participate in rehabilitation and return to work wherever possible.
