I am advised:
- and (2) As individuals transition to the NDIS in the Hunter, the funding
associated with the services accessed by that individual, including services
under the Community Care Supports Program (CCSP), will be used to contribute to
the Scheme. There is no change in funding arrangements for people in receipt of
CCSP funded supports who have not yet transitioned to the NDIS.
The NDIS is
based on the principle of each person with disability being able to have full
choice and control over their life. The types of supports provided through the
CCSP will form a key part of the NDIS. As people with disability transition
into the NDIS they will be able to access the reasonable and necessary supports
that they require.
