The Government's 2016-17 Budget delivers record funding of $12 billion for
NSW public schools. A further $554 million has been allocated in 2016-17 to
support the delivery of capital works projects in New South Wales public
schools.
Schools are already benefiting from the $219 million additional funding
provided in 2017 to schools through the Department of Education's needs-based
Resource Allocation Model.
Funding has also been allocated to key reforms such as improving teacher
quality.
New South Wales will continue to advocate for the full Gonski funding.
