The Government response to the recommendations made by the Legislative
Council Inquiry into registered nurses in New South Wales nursing homes was
that the requirement would remain in place until the issue has been considered

Standards set under the Aged Care Act 1997 provide national guidance to
ensure appropriate levels of nursing care at aged care facilities.
