4280 - HUNTER AMBULANCE SERVICE REVIEW

Hornery, Sonia to the Minister for Health and Medical Research

(1) Considering the May 2020 announcement of a review into the Hunter Ambulance Service to address workplace grievances where four senior NSW Ambulance staff across the Hunter Region have resigned or been stood down in the last few months. when will the review into workplace grievances be completed?

(2) When will Senior Duty Operation Manager 's positions be permanently filled?

Answer -

(1) The review mentioned in the Newcastle Herald on 7 May 2020 referred to the process for addressing grievances in the sector. I am advised new processes have subsequently been implemented to facilitate the tracking of grievances raised by staff.

(2) All management recruitment is centrally completed in statewide assessment centre campaigns. I am advised the next round of management recruitment will be completed in the new year.
