1459 - BATHROOM FACILITIES TRAINS AND STATIONS FOR NEW MOTHERS

Hornery, Sonia to the Minister for Transport and Roads

What efforts is the Government making to ensure new mothers have access to the appropriate bathroom facilities on New South Wales train services and train stations?

Answer -

I am advised:

A baby change table is available in most unisex accessible toilets across NSW train stations. All trains in the new Regional Rail fleet will contain baby changing facilities and accessible toilets. All New Intercity Fleet trains will have two wheelchair accessible toilets with baby changing facilities and one standard access toilet.
