1557 - OVERSEAS ASSESSMENT OF HOSPITAL TEST AND SCANS

Hornery, Sonia to the Minister for Health and Medical Research

(1) How many tests and scans were sent interstate or overseas for assessment during the 2018-2019 financial year for the following hospitals:

(a) John Hunter Hospital;

(b) Calvary Mater Newcastle?

 
Answer -

I am advised that approximately 0.4% of tests at these hospitals were reported overseas. Data on interstate reporting is not available.
