816 - HUNTER WATER CORPORATION DIVIDEND

Hornery, Sonia to the Minister for Water, Property and Housing

Considering that the Government's recent request for a $100 million dividend from Hunter Water will require the corporation to take on more debt for a total of $1.1 billion, can the Minister make assurances that the costs required to service this debt will not be passed on to Hunter Water customers?

This question was previously addressed in LA Q133. Dividends and distributions from Hunter Water do not impact customer prices.
