Regarding commencement of Stage 5 of the Newcastle Inner City Bypass, and following up on the Minister's responses to LA Q269, when will detailed design works and tenders for roadworks begin?

I am advised:

Detailed design work has commenced. Transport for NSW is preparing the Final Business Case.

Transport for NSW will call for construction tenders following completion of the detailed design and subject to approval of the Final Business Case.
