When will Hunter Water Corporation begin the design process for the replacement of the two trunk mains in Longworth Avenue, Wallsend, namely Valve house and Newcastle Road pumping station, constructed in 1884 and 1902 respectively, to allow Newcastle City Council to undertake the necessary major road rehabilitation works in the street?
  2. What will be the cost of the replacement of the two trunk mains?
  3. How long will the project to replace the two trunk mains take?
Answer -
  1. Hunter Water is yet to be contacted by Newcastle City Council regarding road works in Longworth Avenue. Hunter Water is currently upgrading the Wallsend Pump Station.
  2.  Project costs would depend on the scope and complexity of the works required.
  3.  Project timeframes would depend on the necessary planning approvals, as well as the scope and complexity of the works required.
