What steps are being undertaken by the Government to support domestic violence victims and their children who are at risk of returning to violent partners or homelessness due to the shortage of long-term, affordable housing and inadequate income support?

 

Answer -

I am advised:

The Government is investing more than $390 million over four years in specialist domestic and family violence services.

Specific initiatives and programs have been implemented to support domestic violence victims and children at risk of homelessness. More information is available on the Family and Community Services and Women NSW websites: www.facs.nsw.gov.au and www.women.nsw.gov.au.
