Hornery, Sonia to the Minister for Sport, Multiculturalism, Seniors and Veterans

Considering that projections by Northern NSW Football estimate that by 2036 football will require an additional 700 full-sized pitches across New South Wales to cope with demand, what plans does the Government have to meet this demand?

 
Answer -

The Government has been working with Councils across Greater Sydney and regional New South Wales to ensure sport infrastructure planning meets the needs of communities into the future, with significant funding available to facilitate the developments of infrastructure.
