  2. How many staff were engaged at each location in each of the financial years from 2010-11 to 2016-17 (to 19 May 2017)?

Answer -

Fire & Rescue NSW (FRNSW) has advised me:

(1) There are 16 permanent and 52 retained firefighters at fire stations servicing the Wallsend electorate. Firefighters are available to respond to calls 24 hours a day at all stations in the electorate. Station addresses are available via the FRNSW website.

(2) FRNSW determines staffing levels of individual stations based on community need, demographics and growth predictions.
