  1. How often has WorkCover carried out random inspections at Baiada Poultry's Beresfield Plant in 2012-13?
  2. How many of these inspections were carried out with workplace safety representatives?
  3. Does WorkCover use independent interpreters for inspections of meat processing sites, which often have many international workers?
Answer -
  1. WorkCover has not conducted any random inspections of the Baiada Poultry's Beresfield Plant, in this period.
    However, WorkCover has been in contact with the business, as a result of a workplace injury in May 2013.
  2. See answer to question one.
  3. WorkCover does not routinely use independent interpreters for inspections of meat processing sites, but will engage these services if language issues are identified.
