    1. If so, which projects and:

      1. When was the commitment made;
      2. When will the projects commence?
    2. If not, does the Government intend to make such a commitment?
Answer -

I am advised:

In the 2013-14 Budget the Government committed to $59.7 billion for infrastructure expenditure over the next four years to 2016-17. This included a significant number of major infrastructure projects (generally defined as those projects over $100 million, as per the Infrastructure NSW Act 2011). Given the scope of these projects they are often the subject of a number of separate contracts covering various aspects of their delivery and each major contractor would typically engage multiple sub-contractors. Information on successful tenderers is available on www.tenders.nsw.gov.au. If information is sought about specific projects those could be specified and directed to the relevant Minister.

Government procurement is subject to principles of probity, fairness and value for money, as set out in detailed procurement documentation available at www.procurepoint.nsw.gov.au in accordance with approved Government tendering processes.
