  1. How many recruits will go through the Police College in 2008?
  2. When will the new recruits graduate from the College?
  3. How many of these graduates will be allocated to the Waratah Command?
  4. What is the total number of police, including probationary officers, at the Waratah Command?
Answer -

The NSW Police Force has advised me:

  1. There are three student intakes at the NSW Police College during 2008. Final figures for the year are not known at this stage.
  2. The three classes graduate on 9 May, 29 August and 19 December 2008.
  3. The allocation of Probationary Constables has not yet been determined.
  4. Details of police numbers at Local Area Commands are posted on the NSW Police Force internet site, www.police.nsw.gov.au
