I am advised:
- Through the amalgamation of the Royal Newcastle Hospital's 'Pink Ladies'
and the 'Kookaburra Carers' from John Hunter Hospital in 2006, the 'John Hunter
Site Carers' was formed. The total amount of funds raised since 1991 by
these combined groups is $2,232,925.65.
- (a) and (b) Data prior to 2003⁄04 financial year are not
available. It is therefore not possible to respond to this specific
question.
- The John Hunter Hospital utilises the funds raised by the carers to
purchase equipment for the hospital.
