What plans exist to ensure infrastructure in the Fletcher area keeps up with
the growth in young families?

I am advised:
The Draft Greater Newcastle Metropolitan Plan 2036 was released in November
2017 for public comment. The Plan will provide land use planning directions to
inform infrastructure delivery for the metropolitan area over the next 20
years, including for the Fletcher area. The Plan will be accompanied by the
Hunter Special Infrastructure Contribution which provides funding towards the
delivery of State and regional infrastructure.
