Answer -

Legal Aid NSW runs free civil, family and criminal law advice clinics at a range of locations around NSW, including in the Hunter region. I am advised that Legal Aid:

  1. Is not aware of any residents who were turned away from 20 October 2014 to 20 October 2015.
  2. Does not keep data on outcomes for defendants who are refused Legal Aid representation.
