The process of Government schools identifying and nominating their priority
capital works projects is ongoing. Each year, local schools and Assets
representatives from the Department of Education and Communities meet to assess
the major and minor capital works priorities for all Government schools and
recommend projects for inclusion in the annual capital works program.
Proposals for new capital works funding are considered through the Budget
process and are announced as part of the annual State Budget.
