  1. How many nursing staff were rostered for duty during the Christmas and New Year period in December 2017 at John Hunter Hospital?
    1. Is this an increase or decrease of rostered nursing staff from the same Christmas and New Year period in December 2016?
      1. If there was a decrease, what was the impact on patients during this period?
Answer -

John Hunter Hospital had the equivalent of 824.2 full-time equivalent (FTE) nurses who were rostered and worked during the 2017-2018 Christmas and New Year period.

Wards were provided with nursing staff in accordance with the requirements of the Public Health System Nurses and Midwives (State) Award.
