I am advised that:
(1) UrbanGrowth NSW and GPT are co-owners in one site known as the East End
project, in Hunter Street, Newcastle.
(2) The redevelopment of this 1.8 hectare site in Newcastle City's east end
is a significant catalyst project for Newcastle's revitalisation. UrbanGrowth
NSW and The GPT Group are the landowning proponents of the East End site, and
are working together to facilitate the master planning and staged release to
the market of this mixed use redevelopment. A Stage 1 development application
has been lodged with Newcastle City Council and is currently on exhibition.
