  1. Considering the $180,000 dollars allocated for flood prevention works in Wallsend (LA Q4713), which infrastructure was the $180,000 spent on?
  2. What are the current and projected states of that or those projects?
Answer -

I am advised:

  1. A $180,000 grant under the Floodplain Management program was awarded to Newcastle City Council for a detailed design to remove the Tyrrel and Boscawen Street bridges and modify the Nelson Street bridge.

  2. The project began in February 2017 and is due to be finished in June 2018.
