2808 - MAJOR CAPITAL WORKS—HUNTER SCHOOLS

In relation to schools in the Hunter Region:

  1. What projects were nominated for funding under the Major Capital Works process in the 2011-12 and 2012-13 financial years?
  2. What projects were successful for each of those years?
Answer -
  1. In 2011-12 and 2012-13, there were two projects in the Hunter region that were nominated for funding under the major capital works process.
  2. The relocation of Gosford Public School to the Henry Kendall High School site was approved in the 2011-12 Budget. No major capital works projects were approved for the Hunter region in 2012-13. They will be considered for inclusion in a future capital works program.
