I am advised:

Ophthalmology surgery continues to be offered through the Hunter New England Local Health District. Patients who require routine, non-urgent care have a range of options including seeing ophthalmologists in their private rooms, or other specialists, GPs and optometrists in addition to referral to the state ophthalmic facility, the Sydney Eye Hospital.
