With reference to a petition with more than 500 signatures requesting the
extension of bus route 235 to the suburb of Minmi which was presented to the
New South Wales Legislative Assembly on 19 February 2013:
- Is the Minister aware of this petition?
- Will bus route 235 be extended to Minmi?
- If not, why not?

Answer -

I am advised:
- Yes.
- Timetable adjustments to route 260 to Minmi were introduced on 20 April
2015, providing better spacing of services to Minmi. There are currently no
plans to extend route 235 to Minmi as existing services in the area are meeting
demand.
Transport for NSW will continue to monitor development and
population growth in Minmi. As demand grows, services will be assessed to
ensure they continue meeting the needs of customers.
