- Has there been a reduction in the number of testing officers conducting
driving tests for P1 licences at the Roads and Maritime Services (RMS) centres
in the Newcastle, Charlestown and Wallsend electorates?
- Has the reduction in full-time equivalent (FTE) RMS staff from 3900 in
2011-12 to 3074 in 2013-14 resulted in a reduced number of testing
officers?
- If so, is this reduction in testing officer numbers a result of efficiency
savings?

There has been some natural attrition in driver tester ranks in the Hunter
region. Importantly customers have not been impacted.
