Through the implementation of Living Life My Way, the Government is putting
in place safeguards to manage the risk to individuals and improve the level of
service provided.
A range of safeguarding strategies are currently being developed for
implementation whilst New South Wales transitions to the National Disability
Insurance Scheme. This includes the safeguards that are being built into the
decision making processes for individualising disability supports.
