  2. How does this figure compare with 2010?
  3. Is field work normally done by Hunter Region sheriff's officers being outsourced?
    1. If so, to whom and to what extent?

I am advised:

(1) - (2) The number of sheriff's officers in 2010 and 2013 is shown in table below:

Newcastle 15 14*
Toronto 3 3
East Maitland 3 2
Broadmeadow 3 2

*From the period of 2011 2013 the number of Sherriff's officers have not changed.

(3) The enforcement functions of the Office of the Sheriff of New South Wales are currently being done by that office.
