579 - CARDIFF RAILWAY STATION—EASY ACCESS UPGRADE

When will the easy access upgrade be completed at the Cardiff Railway Station?
Answer -

I am advised:

Construction work on the Cardiff Station Accessibility Upgrade is expected to be completed in late 2013.

The upgrade will include a platform extension to accommodate 8-carriage trains and lifts to ensure people in wheelchairs, with prams or carrying luggage can independently access the station.
