  2. What is the average response time for the:
    1. Newcastle City Local Area Command;
    2. Lake Macquarie Local Area Command?
Answer -

The NSW Police Force has advised me that the NSW statewide target is for a response to 80 per cent of urgent calls for service within 12 minutes.

I am advised that both Newcastle City and Lake Macquarie Local Area Command's average response times from 1 July 2012 to 29 May 2013 were within the respective targets for those Commands.
