10048 - ADDITIONAL POLICE FOR BERESFIELD POLICE STATION

Hornery, Sonia to the Minister for Police, and Minister for Emergency Services

Considering the commitment to provide an extra 1,500 Police for New South Wales, will extra Police resources be provided to make Beresfield Police Station fully operational?
Answer -

I refer the Member to my joint media release with the Premier on this subject, dated 20 November 2018.

In relation to specific commands, the allocation of police resources is determined by the Commissioner based on operational needs. Allocations of officers from each graduating class will be announced on the day of attestation by the Commissioner.
