  3. What is the Government doing to reduce the number of pregnant women transferred to John Hunter Hospital from Sydney, which in turn places extra pressure on midwives and maternity units at John Hunter Hospital?

I am advised:

Maternity services at John Hunter Hospital have been enhanced through the development of an additional obstetric operating theatre for maternity patients, alongside the Hospital's birthing suite.
