That this House:
(1) Notes a total of 8,892 local residents from the Bentley area and Northern Rivers Region have signed a community petition calling for no further logging of Bungabbee State Forest, west of Lismore.
(2) Calls on the Deputy Premier and the Minister for Energy and Environment to work together to protect 30 identified threatened or vulnerable species of native fauna and flora.
